KPS Process
Your initial design schematics will define the general scope and conceptual design of your project including scale and relationships between building components.
If a design is needed, our team will prepare for a run-through with an architect that will design around you and your idea. We’ll then go through your concept and determine how to solve any design challenges. We’ll work closely with you to understand expectations, schedule, and budget.
PRE CONSTRUCTION
With working drawings, specifications, and bidding documents in hand, we’ll clearly define all needs to suppliers and subcontractors. A bid will then be delivered to you that mirrors your initial vision.
REVIEW CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
We’ll also secure all legal documentation before the construction of a new or existing building occurs. Clear communication is our hallmark for bringing a project in on time, within budget, and to the expectations of all involved.
PERMITTING
This is the stage of the building process that the outside world sees—large equipment moving dirt, concrete trucks coming and going, the sound of nail guns firing, structures rising from the ground. To most, this appears to be the hard part, but for us, it’s what gets us up each morning.
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
Once the building is up, we’ll work with city officials, subs, and suppliers to ensure that the building and equipment has passed all inspections and is ready for occupancy. We’ll provide you all operational information, maintenance check-lists, and warranty documentation. All that is left is for you to move into your newly constructed or renovated building.
CLOSE OUT MOVE IN
Our complete process enables you to manage your building on your own, while ensuring that you’ll have support down the road if maintenance is needed. Our success is defined by our customers. Therefore, we’ll continue to review our efforts and improve as necessary to remain dedicated to your satisfaction.
